Hospital First Receiver Training (8-hour class):
Our 8 hour course will discuss Emergency Preparedness for Hospital First Receivers. Students will briefly review the OSHA 1910.120 standard on Hazardous Materials. The course will cover how to handle patient that will arrive to the hospital from worst-case scenarios in the community. Participants will be able to apply the skills they have learned to recognize hazards, incorporate safe work practices and prevent patient cross-contamination if there is a HazMat incident, WMD event or natural disaster. Students will be provided an overview of how to set up equipment that is provided to the hospital for patient decon.
Hospital First Receiver Training (16-hour class):
Our 16 hour course will break down the entire OSHA standard related to Hazardous Materials 1910.120, students will also cover additional OSHA standards related to Hospital First Receivers’ Training. Students will gain further knowledge by participating in hands-on training in Personal Protective Equipment and mass decontamination as directed by the Hospital Incident Command System.
Hospital Incident Command System (HICS):
Our 4 to 8 hour training course will educate key hospital leaders in managing all types of emergencies that could occur at a hospital, such as; hazmats, fires and natural disasters.
